Get to know our Game
You might know Ragnarok already, but we promise, you don't know us!
Starting a new game isn't always an easy task. But the GM Team and our great community is always here to help you! Before starting off, it's always a good idea to inform yourself about the basics, features and guides we have to offer.
We've created a dedicated Game Guide Page
for you, which links you to all the basic information you should know.
To be able to enjoy the game, you will need to sign up for a user account. A user account is used for playing GatheringRO and accessing Account Management.
You will have to verify your email address by clicking a link in an email that we will send you.
To sign up, click the "Register
" link located in our menu and the main page.
Please note that the game and forums account are seperated, you need to register additionaly in our forums to get full support and enjoy all of the features available to the community.
Installing the Game
Before you can start playing you need to download
and install the game first. We highly recommend to download our Full Client via torrent, so the download does not become corrupt and can be paused/continued at any given time. GatheringRO offers you a one-click Installer and automatically starts patching as soon as the installation has been finished.
Logging into the Game
Now that you have installed the game and created your account, you can enter the game and begin playing. Make sure to start our game always through our patcher. At the log in screen, enter the account name and password that you chose when you created your account. Do never share your password nor your account name, keep it secret!
Creating your Character
Once you log in, you can create a character for yourself by choosing your name and appearance.
Great care should be given to name selection. The first impression other players have of you will be based on your name, so it's best to start off on the right foot. While choosing the perfect name for your character, guild, party or pet is generally left to your discretion. Be aware of the naming policy
so that you do not risk penalties such as having to rename your character.
Paging a Game Master (GM)
If you need assistance at any time while you are in the game, do not hesitate to contact a Game Master (GM). Our team of GMs are available to assist you with a wide range of problems and issues you may encounter. To contact a GM, simply use the command @request "question". A GM will contact you shortly thereafter to help you resolve your situation.
If there's no GM available ingame, so also don't hesitate to use our Support Section
in our Forums.
